A Florida guy who claimed he'd been unlawfully blocked from selling copies of his unofficial World of Warcraft guide through the wildly popular game's maker can resume his sales, owing to an out-of-court settlement reached Friday.
"They get countless notices of claimed infringement which they can't investigate all claims." The parties also threatened copyright and trademark infringement action in opposition to Kopp.
Kopp routinely filed counternotices protesting the claims,WOW Transformation Items, according to his original court complaint in California federal court.
